Meet Talya Rubin
Talya is originally from Canada, where she started working as a professional actor in film, television and voice as a child. She has played opposite actors Alan Arkin, Loretta Switt, James Woods and Elliott Gould. When she was 8, she was part of creating and voicing an original serial radio drama called "Until Death do Us Part" where she played a Russian Maid. This ignited her love of voice and radio. Talya has voiced characters and radio dramas for CBC (Canada) and ABC (Australia) and was a youth host on CBC's Daybreak. She has voiced commercials, done dubbing, narration and was a voice on the animated series, "Arthur". Talya currently lives in Perth, Western Australia and runs a theatre company called Too Close to the Sun. She is also a published poet with two books of poetry and a third in the works.
